Voron Trident — self-sourced CoreXY build
A full Voron Trident build from individually sourced components: frame, wiring loom, motion system, electronics, and firmware. No kit, no shortcuts.
What it involved
- End-to-end assembly of a precision CoreXY motion platform: belts, linear rails, steppers, drivers, thermal systems, and calibration.
- Mechanical and firmware modifications beyond the stock design for improved performance.
- Complete Klipper configuration written and tuned from scratch for this specific machine.
Why it matters
Building a Trident from parts means owning every failure mode. There’s no vendor to blame — every layer from crimped connector to input-shaper graph is something I assembled, configured, and debugged myself.
